How We Confirm Codes

The rules behind every label on AhlaCode, and how a code moves up or down.

Order on every page

  1. Confirmed codes, showing the real date of the last confirmation (it disappears from the freshness line after 3 days without a new check).
  2. Codes we tried in a real basket in the last 30 days.
  3. The store’s own published offers.
  4. Codes listed on 3 or more independent sites in the last 30 days.
  5. Everything else, then expired and rejected codes at the bottom.

Basket tests

We add real items to a basket as a guest, apply the code, and record whether the total drops and by how much. We also try a made-up code first: if the store accepts that, the test is worthless and we don’t publish it. Screenshots are dated. We never complete a purchase for a test.

Store facts

Delivery, returns and payment facts are read from each store’s own pages for each country and dated. If a store blocks reading, we use search previews of those pages and say so on the page. “–” means unknown; we never guess.

Corrections

When a code or fact turns out wrong, we change it and log the change, with the date, in that page’s change log and on What changed today. Tell us at hello@ahlacode.com.
