# White Friday 2026 in the Gulf: Expected Dates and How to Prepare

Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November. Amazon's White Friday and noon's Yellow Friday dates for 2026 had not been announced as of 17 October 2026. In 2025 noon's Yellow Friday ran from 20 to 30 November in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and Amazon says White Friday usually falls around the last Friday of November with early access for Prime members. Expect the main sales to start in the third week of November 2026.

## White, Yellow, Black: what's the difference?

The three names refer to the same late-November sales season, but each store uses its own:

- White Friday: Amazon says on its page that this is the name it uses in the Middle East for the "Black Friday" season, and calls it its biggest sale event of the year. eXtra uses the same name on its Saudi and Oman sites.

- Yellow Friday: noon's own event, which it calls the biggest shopping week of the year.

- Black Friday: the day after US Thanksgiving. noon also uses it as one day within its season, and Sharaf DG calls its version "DG Friday".

What matters for shoppers isn't the name but how long the event runs. Some stores run a week or more, and some add early days for members.

## 2024 and 2025 dates by retailer

These dates come from official store and bank pages. Where we found no date on an official page, we say "not confirmed".

A note on Amazon: its seller page says the event takes place "towards end of November" with final dates released closer to the event, which is why no fixed date is published far in advance.

## What to expect in 2026

Confirmed: Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026. Amazon's UAE and Saudi pages are titled "White Friday 2026" and say the event usually falls around the last Friday of November, with early access to all deals for Prime members.

We will update this guide when stores announce official dates. Don't rely on any date that hasn't appeared on the store's own site or app.

## The overlap with Oman National Day

Royal Decree 15/2025 moved Oman's National Day holiday to 20 and 21 November, from 18 and 19 November under Royal Decree 88/2022. 20 November marks the founding of the Al Busaidi state.

The actual days off can still be moved: in 2025 the Oman News Agency announced 26 and 27 November 2025 as the official National Day holiday for state employees and the private sector.

What this means for 2026: 20 November 2026 is a Friday, exactly one week before Black Friday and in the window when noon's Yellow Friday started in 2025. So National Day offers at Omani stores are expected to coincide with the start of the White Friday season, and the holiday may overlap the main sales week if it is moved as in 2025. The 2026 holiday dates had not been announced as of this guide.

- Expect more pressure on deliveries in Oman during the holiday, so order early if timing matters.

- Compare the National Day offer and the White Friday offer for the same item; one may beat the other.

- Bank card offers in Oman, such as Bank Dhofar's talabat offer valid until 31 December 2026, have monthly usage limits, so plan when to use them.

## What differs from country to country

The season is the same across the Gulf, but the stores taking part differ by country, which changes how you prepare:

If there is no local site for a store in your country, check shipping fees, customs and delivery time before comparing its price with a local store's.

## How to prepare now

- Note today's prices for what you want in October and early November, so you can tell whether a "discount" is real or the original price was raised before the event.

- Add items to your wishlist in each app, since some stores send price-drop alerts.

- Decide on memberships before the event: Amazon gives Prime members early access, and noon One gives free delivery above a minimum. If you are joining for the season, join a few days before it starts and cancel later if you don't need it.

- Check your bank's offer pages during event week. In 2024, for example, Al Rajhi offered with noon's Yellow Friday 20% capped at SAR 100 for credit cards (ARB20), 15% capped at SAR 75 for prepaid cards (ARB15), and 30% capped at SAR 175 for noon One members (ARB30), with a SAR 100 minimum.

- Read the bank code's terms: Al Rajhi's 2024 offer excluded Apple Pay, noon Credit, gift cards and mobiles under SAR 500, and couldn't be combined with another code.

- Check the return policy, since some sale items may have different return terms. Read the product page before paying.

## During the sale: practical tips

- Compare stores on the same day. noon's season usually starts days before Black Friday, and Sharaf DG's 2025 event ran to 3 December, so the best price may be on a different day from the Friday itself.

- Choose between the store code and the bank code by doing the maths: divide the bank's cap by its percentage to find where you get the full discount, then compare with the store code.

- If you split the payment with Tabby or Tamara, apply the store code first and then choose the instalments. Many card offers require full payment on one card.

- Expect slower delivery during peak week, especially for gifts with a deadline.

- Don't buy under pressure. "Ends in hours" banners run all season, and deals often repeat during the week.

**When is White Friday 2026?**

Amazon had not announced it as of 17 October 2026. It is expected around the last Friday of November, close to 27 November 2026, with early access for Prime members.

**When was noon's Yellow Friday in 2025?**

From 20 to 30 November 2025 in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, according to noon's official pages.

**Is White Friday the same as Black Friday?**

Yes. Amazon says White Friday is the name it uses in the Middle East for the Black Friday season. noon calls its season Yellow Friday.

**Does Oman National Day overlap with White Friday?**

It is expected to. Royal Decree 15/2025 sets the holiday on 20 and 21 November, and 20 November 2026 is a Friday, one week before Black Friday. In 2025 the holiday was moved to 26 and 27 November.

**Do bank codes stack with White Friday prices?**

Bank codes usually apply on top of the sale prices shown, but generally can't be combined with another store code. Read each offer's terms.
